Flamingo Beach

About Flamingo Beach

Located just about 46 miles of Liberia, Flamingo beach its the top destination in south Guanacaste. This fantastic tourist destination lies between Potrero Beach and Brasilito Beach. The amzing beach scenario counts with luxury beachfront hotels and resorts as well shops, local business and restaurants. A very important sport fishing event is developed in Flamingo beach every year in June since the high season for sport fishing in Flamingo is from May to October, really good months to hook 200 pounds yellow fish tunna. You can find other activities besides sport fishing, kayaking, jet skiing and snorkeling are other popular water sports in Flamingo beach. But if you are looking for something more relaxing just lie down in the beach, get a suntan while rest in one of the most beautiful beaches in Guanacaste, just remember to avoid the sun from 10 to 14.

Horseback riding and ATV adventure are other things to do while in Flamingo beach. The perfect area for these activities is Blanca Beach which is generally very empty due to its distance with Flamingo Beach. Also diving tours can be find to Catalina's Island to see amazing thins on ranges between 20 to 75 feet, snappers, green turtles, ogle sharks and devilfish can be observed in this tour by apprecianting the coral reef. Our recommendation before you do the trip to Flamingo is to book in an hotel since Flamingo Beach is a very crowd beach and almost all the year is visited by local as international tourists.
