Herradura Beach, Puntarenas

Getting Herradura Beach
It's pretty easy to get Herradura Beach. From San Jose take the Bernardo Soto Highway out of San Jose and follow the signs until you get Jaco Beach. Once you get Jaco Beach and while you are in the South Costanera Road, drive 2 miles west from Jaco Beach. On the way you will see luxury hotels with many features for you to enjoy Herradura Beach in the best way. On Herradura Beach you will find condominium complex, golf course as well a marina which is in favor to develop Herradura Beach in an important destination on Costa Rica.
However its tourist projects, proximity with San Jose and quiet environment Herradura Beach still doesn't attract as many tourists as Jaco Beach does, making Herradura a great place to spend vacations for those who are looking for quiet environment. Basic services as showers and a camping ground near the beach allows backpackers spend great vacations in camping experiences. There are other attractions for Herradura Beach visitors, Hermosa Beach and Punta Leona Wildlife Refuge are a must in tourism itineraries for Herradura Beach visitors.
